Most people outside of the agricultural industry would never guess, but bones and fertilizer actually have a lot to do with each other. In a display at AgroLiquid’s IQhub, we used a mannequin to help illustrate this relationship.
This phosphate production display features a lifelike human figure and a metal crank. It shows the process used to produce phosphate from bones. Buckets display replica bones and a sand-like substance to represent the materials both before and after the process. The processed bones are used as a source of phosphate in fertilizers.
Text and focused audio provide educational information about the processes involved in producing phosphate from bones.
