The Indiana Farm Bureau decided they wanted to put a face on their farm bureau members. They wanted to give visitors to their state fair exhibit a glimpse of the real people behind Indiana’s agricultural industry.
To help them do this, we made stand-up signs out of plywood with life-sized cutouts of real-life farm bureau members printed on them. Each stand-up includes the farmer’s name, photo, and hometown, giving visitors from different parts of Indiana something to connect with. The cutout stand-ups also feature a quote from each farmer, talking about their passion for farming or how Indiana Farm Bureau has benefitted them.
Two additional plywood pieces cut into a triangle support each stand-up. These two boards insert into slots near the foot of the sign and serve as a steady base for the signs. Disassembly merely requires the removal of this simple base. The three individual pieces stack easily, making the stand-ups easy for farm bureau staff to transport. They don’t need any tools to assemble or disassemble these stand-up signs.
