Our clients at Grain Farmers of Ontario (GFO) represent a wide variety of farmers and crops. Wheat, barley, soybeans, oats, and more — they’re all included. To help consumers learn about these important foods, GFO asked us to build them an exhibit trailer focused on wheat and other small grains.
Every Ontarian consumer has surely eaten one of the grains GFO promotes. But that doesn’t necessarily mean people know all their health benefits. So, one of the two exterior-facing displays talks about the nutrition of grains.
The other window display features info about grain farmers’ sustainability practices. It addresses consumers’ concerns about soil health, water quality, and more.
Inside, a series of info panels explains the process of growing grains through all four seasons. Others show the stages of crop development, or give more details about how farmers use pesticides safely.
At the rear of the trailer, an interactive game gives visitors the chance to test their knowledge of grain facts. Another kiosk features video interviews with local Ontarian grain farmers.
Creating a themed exhibit trailer about the specific topic of wheat and small grains was a new adventure for us. All the exhibit trailers we’ve built previously just talked about agriculture in general. But we’re glad we got to help GFO put grains squarely in the spotlight.
